Include food with lots of fiber in your diet; it will help you to feel full for a longer period of time. Green vegetables are a good source of fiber, so aim for more vegetables with your meal.  

However, a sudden increase in the intake of fiber can gradually cause cramping and constipation.  You need to make sure that you drink at least 1.2 liters daily to avoid cramps and constipation.

By adding some fiber to your breakfast, it will help you to stay a sense of full until your next meal and minimize the craving for a midday snack.

For the breakfast, you can switch sugary cereals for high-fiber cereals such as whole grain wheat cereals, porridge oats or unsweetened.

And for lunch or dinner, you can swap some of your food on the table for more green vegetables. For instance, you can swap white rice and pasta for  wholemeal type; you can also simply add some pulses such as beans, lentils and peas into your dinner or meals.
